As part of their 20th anniversary, TLC Laser Eye Centers wanted a 4th quarter marketing push, one leveraging their history and experience as a superior LASIK provider.
Switch was brought on to create a digitally focused campaign that could also have strong presence in the physical world. Truly Life Changing Moments liberated TLC from its image as a mere service provider, positioning it as a lifestyle brand by focusing on the pre and post LASIK experience. User generated content took the focus in this campaign, showcasing the life changing aspects of LASIK at TLC.
The campaign also spoke to alumni and optometric affiliates, serving as a celebration platform for internal company communications. Employees throughout the U.S. and Canada were able to acknowledge their efforts in changing so many lives.
With the anniversary campaign, Switch created new brand elements such as typefaces, color palettes, photography and brand messaging to augment the existing brand style guide. The overall effect of the campaign was to generate new, lifestyle-centered content, increase brand engagement, and give TLC an aspirational, emotional edge over other LASIK providers.
