In the #1 category position and looking to enhance their 85% market share with new users, 5-hour Energy needed to find a way to quickly and effectively get their product into the hands of hundreds of thousands of Americans.
Switch put all of its in-house resources into high gear to rapidly deploy a sampling program across the U.S. The time from inception to the first sample distributed took roughly two months, including vetting events, hiring Energy Ambassadors, and managing program ramp-up and logistics.
During each engagement, our Energy Ambassadors engage the target, sharing product information as well as potential usage occasions. Energy Ambassadors are at the ready to answer consumer questions on product ingredients and benefits while demonstrating how, when and where one could use five hours of energy. Through these interactions, Switch is also able to gather valuable insight on the target, helping to further refine the program.
